My Birthday is really today Aug l4/92. Sunday was a better
day. My nephew Henry O. Little. Same date. Also my neighbor
Mrs Nellie Willett. who does most of my shopping. Napoleon
Bonaparte was born on Aug l5 l808. ( He came to a bad end)

Charles Ross Perkins
Elizabeth Little. A niece. She is a bacteriologist at
Davis working on her Ph.D. Last year the college sent her
to a world convention in Italy to present a paper on her work
at Davis. All expenses paid. As a little child she was
smart and beautiful.
Mr & Mrs. Alfred & Evelyn Campos. Of Santa Clara.
Al was one of six brothers who volunteered for the armed
services WW2. When the sixth one volunteered, they told
him to go home. Five was enough from one family.
Al was in the Airforce. Because of a lazy eye he was made a
Flight engineer. Flew over the HUMP many times. Later,
volunteered for SEARCH & RESCUE. Very dangerous, but his
crews saved American lives.
Al is a perfectionist. As a flight engineer, he would let a
plane take off without a thorough check over. Often, a
mechanic was sent on a plane that he had helped service.
This tended to keep the mechanics interested.
