New Year l99l. Continued.
January 7/l99l.
On January l/l99l I expressed some of my hopes
& fears for the New Year. Some people might find them too
pessimistic. They are basically optimistic because humans
do not need to act that way.
My main purpose in life is prevention. I plan to publish a
book whose main theme is prevention. It is cheerful.
EYE CONDITIONS.
Myopia. Mostly preventable. Depends on the whole life
style and the environmental pressures into which we are born.
When children become near- sighted they seldom know what
struck them. I tell them and their parents how to prevent
what is called progressive myopia. I used to consult with
the schools or teachers
Cataracts. Not a matter of just getting old. It is mainly
premature aging. The causes are often obvious. Some
people with cataracts are sick all over.
