Dear Thelma:
Happy to receive your letter and hear about
you and Peter and the family plans for Christmas.
You mentioned rain. We need it. No frost yet where I
live.
Elizabeth plans to come fro Christmas along with Seth.
He is age l4. Fine looking boy. Elizabeth Little and son Seth.

She expects to be in Davis for 2 years. This year she is on
a project regarding the celery crops in the Salinas Valley.
The leaves wilt because of a bacteria. Not visible to the
naked eye but the colonies are visible. Presently they
are being studied in the labs in Davis. She will also go
to the Salinas Valley..
I use my car. Try to avoid night driving, I take my walker.
If a handyman is with me I may use a wheel chair stored in
the trunk.
I do most of my own cooking. I just bought 3
frozen New Zealand leg of lamb.
