Photos of Micanopy Florida (click here for the Wikipdedia article on the town) Ten miles south of Gainsville, this small town is the oldest inland settlement in Florida (it's the oldest "gringo" settlement in the entire state).  About a mile off of I-75, it's a standard pit stop on the long drive to Tallahassee (to get an ice cream cone).
