Dear Margaret:

We all live in troubled times. We lack
effective government. The mass of people are screaming for
more special favors. The politicians cater to them. You can
see this. The country is going broke.

Millions of middle class people are giving up luxuries. not
from choice. The future is so uncertain. This will apply
to me too. Presently , you are a luxury.
I do not need you 36 hours a week. I like the comforts but
I am now on a fixed income and inflation can wreck my
finances.

I am depressed about this but I have to face reality. As a
deaf cripple I do not expect to have a jolly time. I
appreciate the help you give me. And would miss it. I am
trying to make you aware of what is concerning me.

I am not satisfied with this note but it is an attempt to
express my thoughts and feelings about the situation.

Kindly regards

 Robert.
