You will not have received my letter yet. I am
getting along but out here the people appear too frivolous.
Perhaps everywhere.
I inclose an article I wrote about the big auto race in
Indianapolis. I don't expect people to like it. Not
cheerful enough.
I inclose a check for $l,OOO.OO. Too small to do much but
try to use it to add to your comfort or pleasures. Even for
warm things around the house.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Nellie Willett will pick up some salmon.
At the farmers Market. Fresh from the sea.
