Dear Viola:

I have been writing by hand on some odd bits of
paper. This is a continuation.  I wrote an article 3 or
4 days ago about Crystal and John Milton.   I did not even
date it. I inclose.

Today I am using the walker around the house and
outside too.

To paint the Lily or to Gild fine gold or add another
hue onto the rainbow, is a vain and ridiculous excess.

Shakespeares  Richard iii  I shortened the quotation
a little.
