MAD WORLD
In nature, a species was usually rewarded by doing what was
good for the tribe etc. Today we appear to reward the
failures and the destructive elements in society.
What may be even more detrimental is the antagonism to
successful people. This is very evident even in sports.
Baseball, for example. I admire Jose Canseco. Many in
the audience scream hateful epithets at him. Even the news
media pick on him. They say he is vain. I just watch and
admire.
June 20/92 Presently during this election year candidates
are analyzed, along with their family, friends and
associates. Their pasts are scrutinized.
Vice President Daniel Quayle has been subjected to a lot of
negative exposure. especially on Television. I like the man.
He is intelligent, skillful and patriotic. His background
and experience make him well fitted for his present role.
President Bush was courageous and smart in choosing a vice
president of such quality.
I even like the way he plays golf, He plays to win.
Political figures who have gotten to know him, have come to
respect him. The liberal element appear to be afraid of him.
He is not desperate for money. He is not a pushover.
I also admire his wife.
I deeply admire President Bush. A very bright man with a
magnificent war record. Anyone who could fly bombers off
an aircraft carrier has to be very special. Especially
in wartime conditions. I have talked to many people about
this.
For many reasons I am happy about the President and his wife.
They add dignity to our nation. We can be proud.
A few years ago I was head of the Eye and Ear department at
the veterans hospital. I examined hundreds of veterans.
Many with Nervous breakdowns. I told them, that to avoid
going nuts they should fill their memory banks with fine
people and fine events. We all should do this.
President Bush and Vice President Quyle are in my memory bank
and hardly a day goes by without my thinking of them and
wishing them well.
Madworld.

On the previous page, I have explained, how I try to
protect my brain from the impact of modern madness. I have
encouraged other people, especially veterans, to do the same.
Many of them were haunted by past events in their lives.
I would suggest that each day they think of some cheerful
event or some person or people that were worthy of admiration
and tell it to three people.
