Dear Van & Kathy.
I enjoyed your card and my talk with Kathy.
I am getting along. My deafness is a burden. But I keep
striving. So many people in the world have a miserable time
and many deserve it, I suppose.
I believe that society is breaking down. Chaos is
possible. Many people say it is here now. There is hope
if there are enough families like you. They can create
pockets of culture. That is what the decent Chinese did to
preserve their culture when the Mongals took over. We can
talk about this later.
