Dear People:
egarding my l989 State tax.
When I was about to mail in my State forms I broke my hip.
I was rushed off to hospital. My neighbor's daughter
offered to mail them. She first stopped in to a copy shop
and then put my forms in the Post Box. Included was a
$l,OOO.OO check.
I have just found out that the check has never been cashed.
I am an old man living alone. I have not balanced my bank
account for over a year.
My physical ailment began early. At age l3 I had a totally
unnecessary hernia operation. I have had a bad left leg
since. I am still using a wheel chair and walker since I
left the hospital After the hip operation.
I have some help but still find things very difficult.
I am very hard of hearing. (Miserable thing)
I inclose a copy of my l989 State tax and a copy of my l989
Federal tax.
In spite of everything, I am still glad to be alive at age 87
and living in this area.
