A TIME OF GLORY AND SADNESS
There are plenty of glories about our present times.
1. The great availability of knowledge. Anyone with fire in
their belly can become an educated person. After all , all
learning is self- learning.
2. The countless labor saving devices. and the countless
things that add joy and comfort to our lives.
3. We are beneficiaries of the countless people who have
worked and sacrificed to make a better life possible for most
of us.
4. The sadness is that collectivly and individually too many
people have used modern knowledge and power to create
destructive situations for millions of people and permanently
damage large areas of our beautiful planet.
5. When I write, I try to think out loud. I am sharing my
thoughts. I have written a few hundred pages.
