Dear Cousin Thelma:
I appreciated your recent letters. You will
all fit in. When Henry and his wife Leila were here with
their children Helena and Willie, my nephew, Fred and his
wife Michele came to visit, I bought a chesterfield or couch
that opens out into a double bed. I have it in the living
room. I put curtains up for privacy. It worked out fine.
I will not be seeing any patients while you are visiting. I
have mostly given up seeing patients. They interfered with
my life style.
I have a good sized bathroom and a rest room. Upstairs,
there are twin beds.
I will send maps of the area. You will want to see San
Francisco. It is 35 miles North of here.
I will talk to Jim about possible activities and places to
see.
I am looking forward to your visit and want all of you to
have a great time. The maps should be helpful. In the
meantime I will be thinking of various ways to add to the joy
of your visit I will also be writing to Jim. I plan a
tape recording. Also phone calls.
This letter involves all of you, so I will send a copy to Jim
and Edna. I am doing this letter on my computer
Wishing you and Peter and Jim & Edna good health, good food,
good friends and the excitement of seeing new places and new
things. May you all take back happy memories of your trip.
It will also add to my happy memories.
Sincerely
Cousin Bob.

Dear Jim & Edna:
I am looking forward with great pleasure to
your visit. I am enclosing a copy of a letter that I sent
to Thelma & Edna.
I am studying plans about what you would like to see and what
you would enjoy doing. You will want to see Golden Gate
Bridge and ride the trolley cars.
Under separate cover I will send you something I wrote.
I also plan a tape recording.
We can all enjoy talking together and doing and seeing.
I will call you soon on the telephone.
In the meantime I will enjoy the anticipation of your visit.
I want both of you to live a long time and enjoy it more each
year and get smarter each year too.
With friendship & Admiration.
