Dear People;
Re my safety deposit box.
Background. I arrived in Palo Alto 196O. First lived on
North California Ave. l opened a checking account at your
branch at 5O5 California ave. I had moved from Hudson New
York
Until selling my house in Hudson l took out a small mortgage
at your California branch. When I bought my present
house I opened an account at your office. The interest
from Wells Fargo bonds was entered in the account. When the
last bonds matured I left the proceeds in my savings account,
I did not renew them. "I do not believe you called them
bonds."
Because of my substantial balance, you offered to let keep my
safety deposit box rent-free. That is what led to the
present problem.
You must have made extra profits by being able to use my
money at a relatively low interest rate.
Some one has stolen my keys. You can drill out the lock
but you will need the number.
I am searching vigorously, with help, to find some clues in
my old records. However, even if I am not successful there
must be some way for your bank to find the number.
I did not have a large box. I have made out a plan. Please study it. I will come in
to talk it over.
Yours truly
Robert H. Little M.D.
